In the shadow of the Ironspike Mountains lies the quaint village of Galespire, plagued by supernatural storms and eerie howls that echo through the night. Legend speaks of Garumn, a tormented warlord whose restless spirit is bound to these mountains, his anger threatening to unleash a catastrophic storm upon the village.

Designed for 4-6 characters of levels 3-5, “The Howling Gorge” challenges adventurers with puzzles, spectral foes, and ethical dilemmas. Elder Mowen of Galespire has summoned the heroes with a clear mission: retrieve Garumn’s mystical blade from the haunted gorge. This blade is believed to have the power to control the supernatural storms threatening the village. The heroes must decide whether to use the blade to pacify Garumn’s spirit or harness its power for themselves, each choice carrying significant consequences.

The adventure begins in Galespire, where Elder Mowen briefs the characters. As they gather supplies and learn about local lore, they prepare for their journey into the Ironspike Mountains. Navigating the treacherous terrain, they will face natural obstacles, hostile creatures, and supernatural phenomena. Upon retrieving Garumn’s blade, the characters must make a critical decision that will impact Galespire and the surrounding lands. Their journey culminates in a return to Galespire, where they will be celebrated as heroes or held accountable for their choices.
